A “Jill of all trades,” LaDonna Goodridge has had her hands in many things over the past 17 years.  She has been a U.S. Navy Seabee, military spouse, a retail associate, small business owner, a loss prevention and security advisor, full-time student, a Certified Nurse Assistant, a housekeeper, and a four-year veteran of substitute teaching, to name a few.  LaDonna also has volunteered for various civic organizations, and currently sits on the board of MS Rainbow Alliance, a Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, Transgender, Queer, and Intersex (LGBTQI) organization, and heads the Mississippi gulf coast’s chapter of the National Organization for Women, Gulf Coast NOW.  She is also a former member and proud supporter of the Alliance of the Guardian Angels, a volunteer organization that provides public safety and education within local neighborhood streets, schools, and cyberspace. 

LaDonna is a woman of the people who knows both the hardship of back-breaking work and the difficulties of intellectual achievements which include having achieved status on the President's and Vice President's lists at her local community college, and earning membership in Phi Theta Kappa, the international Honor Society of the 2-year college.  LaDonna's knowledge and experience in various fields and settings have made her a very well-rounded person, and she continues to add to her experiences through advocacy and work in the non-profit sector.
